Voice in Contact with the Earth
Workshops and performances of voice and singing in outdoor spaces or in semi-covered or covered places with particular and special acoustics and energies.
Over the centuries, human beings have evolved by developing new vocal techniques that have made the voice increasingly intellectual and less instinctive. This group work aims to rediscover the roots of the voice, to step away from the mind for a moment in order to perceive the whole body again and rediscover “belly sounds” — searching for sonorities that speak of who we are and that vibrate through the body. Ancestral sounds connected to the instinctive and animal human being who expresses, sings, cries, laughs, sighs…
Becoming aware of one’s voice and discovering its potential through exercises based on breathing, listening, singing, experimentation, creativity, and improvisation.
This workshop is open to anyone interested in voice, nature, creativity, and improvisation.
It may take place occasionally or once or twice a month, and may be followed by a performance or sharing, during which participants can engage through improvisation and the vocal experience of the moment.
